Robert Baskin Rosen, the founder and Chairman of the MPN Research Foundation,
passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from complications following a bone
marrow transplant to treat Myelofibrosis and acute leukemia. He was 74 years old.
"Years ago, Celia and I met and realized we had the same goals: to give hope to all MPN patients, and to "find the cure.” Over the years, Friends of ET Research has helped us meet our goals by adding their funds to ours, allowing both organizations to increase important research efforts."

These are rare bone marrow/blood cancers with no known cure and few treatments. Because they are so rare, scientists have paid them little attention. We are trying to change that by funding and issuing research grants.
